九游会国际 desires to resolve student 投诉, grievances, 并以迅速、公平和友好的方式表达关切.

投诉途径

  • Students with an academic concern are encouraged to visit our 关心页面.
  • All students who are seeking to resolve grievances that were not previously resolved based on communications between the parties involved can file a grievance under the USM的学生申诉政策.
  • Students residing outside of the 密西西比州 while attending USM who have already exhausted all other remedies and desire to resolve a grievance should also 遵守大学的学生申诉程序.
  • Any issue that cannot be resolved internally that does not involve Grade Appeals or Conduct 重要的, can be addressed by having the individual file a complaint with the state agency that handles complaint in the student's state of residence.
  • To comply with the Higher Education Opportunities Act of 2008, institutions offering education must provide enrolled and prospective students with contact information for filing 投诉 with its accrediting agency and with the appropriate state agency 处理学生所在州的投诉.
    • For 重要的 unrelated to conduct or grades, students also have the right to attempt to resolve 投诉 by contacting state consumer agencies or other related bodies as described below if resolution with the institution is unsuccessful.

conduct or behavior on the part of the University of Southern Mississippi or any of its agents, representatives or employees that constitute dishonest or fraudulent behavior, including providing false or misleading information to a student
the operation of 项目 (including distance education) contrary to practices expected by institutional and/or programmatic/specialized accreditors
